The vast majority of our metal work is sold from stock. We deliver anywhere in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Our lead times are as follows:

Parcel sized deliveries in boxes are delivered on the next working day if ordered before 1pm. A tracking service is provided with your order.

Bulky items are delivered within 1 to 3 days

Fabricated items are delivered within 1 to 5 days depending on the complexity of the work involved

Saturday deliveries are available. There is a small premium to pay depending on the dimensions of the order. Our sales team can advise you on this.

Our glass is manufactured to your exact dimensions. Lead time on glass is usually between 1 and 3 weeks. After you have placed your glass order, will give you a date for delivery and then contact you again the working day before delivery with the drivers name and number and an ETA for the delivery.

Point Fixings Glass Balustrade

Our point fixings glass balustrade are a popular solution for both glass balustrades and Juliet balconies.

Our point fixings are fully tested when fixed to steel or concrete. To comply with the test certification, you should use 6 point fixings for each 1.4m square panel. The point fixings are fixed in pairs at equal distances along the bottom of the panel.

As standard, they are supplied in a satin stainless steel finish. They can be powder coated on request. If your balustrade is being installed near to a swimming pool or a within five miles of the sea, we would recommend that your point fixings are either mirror polished or powder coated to prevent the stainless steel from discolouring and pitting.

The point fixings have a 50mm diameter head. They are supplied with a variety of thicknesses of back plate. This allows the glass to stand off from the wall and to avoid any obstacles, such as a window sill. The thicknesses supplied are either 10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm and 100mm. They are fixed using a 10mm diameter thread. We can supply the threads in a number of different lengths.

The glass is supplied with holes to accommodate the point fixings. For external glass balustrades, the height of the panel is usually 1.4m with 0.3m beneath the reveal and 1.1m above the reveal. For internal balustrades, the height of panel is usually 1.2m with 0.3m beneath the reveal and 0.9m above the reveal.
