The vast majority of our metal work is sold from stock. We deliver anywhere in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Our lead times are as follows:

Parcel sized deliveries in boxes are delivered on the next working day if ordered before 1pm. A tracking service is provided with your order.

Bulky items are delivered within 1 to 3 days

Fabricated items are delivered within 1 to 5 days depending on the complexity of the work involved

Saturday deliveries are available. There is a small premium to pay depending on the dimensions of the order. Our sales team can advise you on this.

Our glass is manufactured to your exact dimensions. Lead time on glass is usually between 1 and 3 weeks. After you have placed your glass order, will give you a date for delivery and then contact you again the working day before delivery with the drivers name and number and an ETA for the delivery.

Post no Handrail Glass Balustrade

Posts without handrail are one of our most popular selling balustrades. They are often used on patios and in gardens.

If your balustrade is protecting a fall of 600mm or more, to meet Building regulations you should either have a laminate glass (two pieces of glass bonded together) or a handrail. As standard, our posts are sold with clamps to accommodate 10mm glass. We can replace those clamps to accommodate thicker glass on request.

As a rule of thumb, we recommend having a post every meter. If the gap between the posts is much more than a meter (especially over 1.3m), the glass panel can become too heavy for the post and become loose from the clamp. All of the clamps are supplied with security pins. The security pin passes through a predrilled hole in the glass and provide additional security to prevent the glass panel from slipping. We can advise you on where the holes should be in the glass panel to ensure that they align with the clamps on the post.

Our posts without handrail are available in an outside grade in either a satin or mirror polished finish. A mirror polished finish is only usually required if your posts are being installed near to a swimming pool or within 5 miles of the sea. They should be cleaned with s stainless steel cleaner to prevent residue from building up on the posts which can cause them to pit or discolour. This is usually only required 3 or 4 times a year.
