Our glass is manufactured to your exact dimensions. Lead time on glass is usually between 1 and 3 weeks. After you have placed your glass order, will give you a date for delivery and then contact you again the working day before delivery with the drivers name and number and an ETA for the delivery.
Our glass spigot glass balustrades offer completely frameless views.
They can accommodate a number of different glass thicknesses. To meet building regulations, if your balustrade is protecting a fall of 600mm or more, it should either have a laminate glass (two pieces of glass bonded together) and/or a handrail.
Our spigots can be supplied with a slotted tube handrail. This sits on top of the glass and is supported by a rubber gasket that sits between the glass and the handrail. As an alternative to a handrail we can supply Glass Stiffeners. If you are fixing to timber or brickwork, we would recommend having some form of support at the top of the glass panel. This will also assist in aligning your glass panels when installing.
Our spigots as standard are supplied in outdoor grade stainless steel. If your installation is near to the sea or a swimming pool, we would suggest having the spigots in a mirror polished finish or powder coated. We can powder coat to any RAL. This will protect the spigots from discolouring and pitting.
