Origin Architectural recently supplied a Cesario post and handrail system to a customer renovating their home in Kirkcaldy, a town in Fife located on the East Coast of Scotland.

This customer opted for a post and handrail system for their new decking. Originally, they were unsure about the design and what would be most suited to them. They said they were looking for something stylish and modern as a barrier. As their decking was about 600mm from floor level we suggested adding a handrail to comply with building regulations. Kirkcaldy is located near the sea so we suggested a mirror-polished finish to prevent rusting from the salt spray.
This Cesario system not to be confused with the Viola system (no handrail) is made up of mirror-polished bespoke posts. This balustrade uses mid, corner and end posts made from 316 stainless steel with a mirror polish finish with a 316 stainless handrail on top. The glass used for this is 10mm toughened glass.
